Battered by Another Reporter

Well, it was only a matter of time I guess before something like this happened to me. Today at a utilities board meeting I was assaulted by none other than the infamous Columbia County Observers Stew Lilker..

After having some things to say about me during his public comment I questioned him after the meeting about his statement. He became upset with me mentioning the stories I’ve been covering in Fort White then hit me and my camera causing damage to my personal property. I guess he may feel like I’m stepping on his toes or trying to take his job by covering local stories. I warned him many times to get back away from me and he let his anger get the best of him. Our actions have consequences and today he’s being charged with a First Degree Misdemeanor for Battery.
